Man, I have a 1985 FJ60 Land Cruiser that probably gets 9-10 MPG. I regret nothing.

This is like Microsoft saying that they predict shares to double in price. He wants more investors to buy up oil, to spur the price to increase.

The Wagoneers are so cool. Just don't use it as your daily and you will be fine.

No, it's an indication to wait. Once gas prices go back up, Wagoneer prices should go down a bit.

You could coordinate the finish of the wood on one with the wood on your Corby Trouser Press when it arrives.

I'd love to do some silly cummins swap on it, but I'm an idiot and would probably end up burning my house down.

While I do see the price of oil going back up, I don't see it skyrocketing like that. That said, I'd love for it to since it would likely lead to more business for my employers and thus more money for me :)

I'm just enjoying the dip in prices while I can. After I put on my taller-than-stock General Grabber AT2s my mileage is down to like 11-12 mpg on winter blend gas. I tried mid-grade in my most recent tank since there was talk of the Hemi preferring mid-grade for best performance and mileage, and it got me maybe a 1 mpg improvement. Which is basically a wash cost-wise, but it does run a little better on mid-grade.

At some point here I'm going to get around to cleaning out my throttle body. I've already got fresh plugs, EGR, air filter, and a couple bottles of fuel system cleaner run through the tank.

I *would* be enjoying my F-150 with the sane gas prices, but the rear-end decided to say "No mas!" and got almost all the way to grenading.

So it's at the Ford Dealer with the shop guy who has been there close to 30 years, and getting new guts.

By the way, anyone want a 1995 F-150 with less than 100K miles and a brand new Ford axle?

it's cyclical. domestic (due to fracking) and off-shore oil production pushed down what the Saudis could get, so they lowered prices in an attempt to drive the higher cost producers under. once they go under, the major oil players (Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Shell, ConocoPhillips, etc.) will buy their assets for cheap. the Saudis will eventually raise prices such that it becomes economically viable to resume domestic and off-shore production, and the cycle will likely repeat itself again.
